We are using cookies to help give you the best user experience. We don't track users, sell data in any raw, processed or agreggated version. Honestly, we would just like to know how many gymnasts are visiting the site.

Our mission is to bring together gymnastic elements, from all eras of gymnastics, from its initial appearance in the 1940s, to the modern era of acrobatics and high-power routines. We hope to raise the popularity of older, now-forgotten elements and help to set a new standard in diversity of modern gymnastics’ routines as well as extend its popularity in general. After all, gymnastics should not only about measured difficulty and correctness, but about the universal aesthetics and general ability as well.

the process

We start with a gymnastic regulation (FIG MaG/WaG or from any other regulatory body)

Additionally, we scan social media sites for individual elements not found in any regulation.

Gymnastic elements copied from a regulation are seperated into all possible variations of the element

Each element variation is than fed in 2 tables; one for a gymnastic element in general (e.g. element description and scheme) and one for that particular regulation (e.g. elements value or element groups)

Elements are than back-linked to all other regulations and assigned into one of our own categories. Learn more about element organization

With the help of the users, videos and other meta information is added.

We end up with a library of gymnastic elements - each variant as its own element - cross referenced to all the relevant gymnastic regulations and linked to online videos and other metadata

Repeat for other gymnastic regulations and elements.
